Acts 13:46-48

He came to His own and His own received Him not.
God knew that Jesus would be rejected by the very ones that were meant to embrace Him. He sent Him anyway. God knew that He without sin would suffer terrible physical and mental afflictions for the sins of man. He sent Him anyway. God knew that that they would place Him in a another’s tomb and that it would appear that He was despised and rejected. God allowed it anyway. Why? Because God loved man that much! God wanted His creation to have the chance to choose Him and have that love returned to Him. The real shocker…Jesus loved His Father so much that He willingly gave up His life for yours. There is no greater love than this.

A person who convinces himself that he does not need forgiveness from the Holy One has already condemned himself.

Acts 13:46-48
46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so the Lord has commanded us:
‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
48 Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

5 Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the Lord your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”
Isaiah 55:5

6 I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,
Isaiah 42:6

6 Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
Isaiah 49:6

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Romans 1:16

32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”

Luke 2:32
