Daniel 8:18-25 There is an appointed time

We need to live in anticipation  of the return of our Anointed Messiah, Jesus Christ.

God is always in control and will always protect His own! Holy Spirit will always speak to us we just need to listen.

Jesus' baptism signified the beginning of His public ministry, and it also gives us a special revelation of the Trinity: God the Son, Jesus Christ, was baptized; God the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus in the form of a dove; and God the Father announced from heaven that Jesus is His Son.

While the concept of the Trinity is hard to understand, Scripture teaches us that from all eternity, God has been one God in three Persons. The Son was with God and was God from the beginning (John 1:1-2), and He was sent by the Father, taking on human flesh, humbling Himself so that He could save sinners like us (John 1:14;  Philippians 2:6-8). And after Jesus' ascension back to heaven, God sent His Spirit, the same eternal Spirit who was "hovering over the face of the waters" in the beginning (Genesis 1:2), to dwell in us and serve as the guarantee of our inheritance in Him (1 Corinthians 3:16;  Ephesians 1:13-14). What a blessing that when we study God's Word, He reveals to us the Truth about Himself. First 5

Love (value or meaning) is not something you produce or achieve or acquire.
It is not something that you even have.
Love is something that has you.

Daniel 8:18-25

18 Now, as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep with my face to the ground; but he touched me, and stood me upright. 19 And he said, “Look, I am making known to you what shall happen in the latter time of the indignation; for at the appointed time the end shall be. 20 The ram which you saw, having the two horns—they are the kings of Media and Persia. 21 And the male goat is the kingdom of Greece. The large horn that is between its eyes is the first king. 22 As for the broken horn and the four that stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of that nation, but not with its power. 23 “And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. 24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. 25 “Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means. The New King James Version

The time of the end is a reference to a time that may already be underway in some respects, but will not find its fulfillment until the Second Coming of Christ.

The indignation is that of the Lord against those who have rebelled against His dominion. The end indicates that this judgment is against all those in rebellion against God, especially those living at the time just before the coming of Christ.

When the transgressors have reached their fullness means when the sinful actions of the Jews have reached the point where God cannot permit them to go any further without bringing punishment. The NKJV Study Bible

As long as we live in this world we must have something to do in it; and even those whom God has most honoured, must not think themselves above their business. Nor must the pleasure of communion with God take us from the duties of our callings, but we must in them abide with God. All who are intrusted with public business must discharge their trust uprightly; and, amidst all doubts and discouragements, they may, if true believers, look forward to a happy issue. Thus should we endeavour to compose our minds for attending to the duties to which each is appointed, in the church and in the world. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Ezekiel 2:2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me.

Daniel 10:9 Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.

Daniel 10:18 Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me.
