Life Church Vineyard, Lancaster, OH

Pastor Ron Grubb

God sent Jesus to reveal to us His character and to save us from ourself.

Love links faith!

Action is to faith as Motive is to love.

Our motive determines our love.

Pray for the good of the people of our country and the world.  Pray the work of  Holy Spirit in all of our lives.

Recognize  good from evil and place it in God’s hands…He is always in control!

Be nice even when others are not! We need to speak the truth but in the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Jesus uplifted people. God is love. He so loved the world that He gave us JESUS.

Jesus identified wrong but He did not protest against them. Give to Caesar what is Caesars’ and to God what is God’s. His ways are not our ways.

Christmas links us to the love of God!

Love reveals good and evil. Our love is revealed in our commitment to others.

Good trumps right and wrong. It has to be done in love. We can be so right that we become evil by our intentions. Christians can be saved and still be acting in sin. Only the covering of Jesus lets us stand. Holy Spirit will guide us in living a life of good and not evil. Jesus suffered because He stood up for good. He was not guilty of the crimes He was accused of but He prayed for those who crucified Him…praying for their forgiveness because He knew they did not understand what they did!

1 John 3:11-12

11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.
