Luke 8:46–48

There is healing, physical, mental, emotional and most importantly spiritual, in the powerful name of  Jesus. By His stripes we are made whole.

JUST Believe!!

Mark 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.

Luke 7:50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Jesus told them, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NKJV).

The Holy Spirit comes with power. Power to make good choices, to keep promises, to silence the inner voices of fear and failure. Power to get busy about the right things in the right way. Power. This is what Jesus promised then, and this is what Jesus promises still. Max Lucado

Luke 8:46–48

46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. 48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”  The New King James Version

The woman might have feared that Jesus would be angry, since she did not ask permission—especially if touching Jesus made Him ceremonially unclean. Alternatively, her trembling may simply indicate an appropriate level of awe and reverence at the display of Jesus’ healing power.  Faithlife Study Bible

The entire nation of Israel needed to see the evidence of the kingdom of God and make a decision concerning the King. Jesus commissioned His disciples to spread the word about God’s kingdom through preaching and healing.  The NKJV Study Bible

In perfect faith there is no fear; the more we fear, the less we believe. The hand of Christ’s grace goes with the calls of his word, to make them effectual. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
