The Great Unkown
We often overlook the common, everyday people.
We are those people. The great unknown. We are living the final days of our lives and we want our life to honor His.
“Does what I have to offer really matter?”
Yes, when we have gifts and talents and share those with others it matters to God. We are His hands and feet.
1 Corinthians 3:9
9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
He takes whatever we have to offer and multiplies it.
What are we doing with our talents? We can touch peoples lives one step at a time. God wants us to know that our efforts matter to Him.
Every one of us, as believers, are part of the great unknown. When our lives point to HIStory we are being His workers here on earth.
Matthew 13:3-9
13 On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
We want to be planted in good soil! We need to scatter His seeds everywhere. Love and serve others.
When we look at the world with the eyes of God, and see the misery of the world, we can offer others the bigger picture of our Lord and Savior. In sharing His salvation and His love and grace we give hope.
Matthew 13:18-19
18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
God want no one to perish. We show His love for others by caring for them. It is important how we share. Without love we are just noise!!!
1 Corinthians 1:18
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
We can have empathy for others who are not like us. People without Jesus are suffering. We can offer the hope of Christ within to everyone we meet.
