Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
You are:
Way Maker
Miracle worker
Promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God that is who You are!
I worship You.
Jesus entered in to our broken lives to heal and restore us to Himself. Jesus was all man but also All God.
This is pentecost Sunday when Holy Spirit was given to those who believe in His Son. Allow God who created this universe to love you and to give you hope. In Communion we take in the very essence of Jesus and His righteousness to our hearts and our minds.
This was His body which was broken for us. It was His blood that was shed for us and for all the sins of the world. He broke the barrier and restored man to God through His sacrifice. It is finished.
“The Great Unknown”.
God uses the ordinary person to further His Kingdom. He created us, at this time, to carry out our life in Him. He uses the everyday person to do miraculous things.
God has placed people in and around us to further the truth of Salvation. We all know the great heroes of the Bible. We know far less about the normal, ordinary person in the Body of Christ. This nation needs us to be our best self to all those around us. We need to be engaged and speaking the truth. Jesus is the only truth and the light in the darkness to a broken world.
1 Corinthians 12:14-26
14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
God is amazing! He made our bodies to heal. He made the body of Christ in much the same way. It allows the Church when it is broken and torn to heal by using others to come beside us. Every one of us is placed where He wants us to be. He will use our talents and strengths to build up His Body. Our life should tell HIS story.
