Pastor Mitch Price
Leaning on the everlasting arms of God! This love so undeniable. The God of heaven knew your name before you were born. Remind me You are always by my side! We are His family.
We have a good Father who desires the best for our life!
The Great Unknown! Our lives-HIs glory!
There are many unknown characters in the Word of God. He wants you to be great at being you. Our life is in the midst of HIS_story.
The God of the universe wants us to be an integral part of HIS story. We are the Body of Christ. Our lives reflect Him to the world.
John 6: (The New King James Version)
4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. 7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” 8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?” 10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”
People were mesmerized by the miracles that Jesus did on earth. Whatever we give to Him, He will multiply it, for our good and the good of the Body of Christ.
He wants what we have…no more and no less. It is perfect for Him to use.
“Does what I have to offer really matter?” Our life matters to God!
The opposite of that question is ”It’s all up to me!” We can only fulfill His calling on our life when we hand it over to the power and guidance of Holy Spirit and let Him guide us into God’s calling on our life.
Do what you can do and rely on God to do the rest. Nothing more and nothing less. He has gifted you with what He wants you to give back.
1 Corinthian 3:5-9
5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
What we give to Him He will multiply. “Everone Gets to Play”.
Know your story and how it fits into His will! Modeling our life to what we believe. Being prepared to give the reason for our hope. Inviting others to share in that hope.
The story of the boy and the starfish I had texted to my grandchildren last week…God is good!
A young girl was walking on a beach. She suddenly came upon thousands of stranded starfish, each of them fighting for their lives in the beating sun, with seagulls and sand crabs nipping at their poor little bodies. The little girl gently started to pick up one starfish at a time, carrying them back into the safety of the ocean. After some time of doing this, a man appeared from the distance. He looked at all the starfish and then at the girl, and asked, “Why are you doing this? Just look at this beach, there are way too many, there is no way you can save them all.” With a starfish in her hands, the little girl looked up at the man, smiled, and said, “Well, it makes all the difference for this one”.
