Luke 12:1-3

Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Notice who JESUS addressed this to…the religious leaders of the Jews. We need to hear and trust in the HOLY SPIRIT not in man to lead us. These are the times we are living in. We cannot live one way in private and another in public.

The truth of the Christ always supersedes the doctrines of man.

supersede | ˌso͞opərˈsēd |
verb [with object]
take the place of (a person or thing previously in authority or use); supplant: the older models have now been superseded.

hypocrisy | həˈpäkrəsē |
noun (plural hypocrisies)
the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.

The Greek word used here refers to fermented dough that was mixed in with new dough and used as a rising agent. The small amount used in baking would permeate the entire batch of new dough. Leaven serves as an apt metaphor to describe the widespread effects of the Pharisees’ hypocritical teachings and actions. Faithlife Bible.

Leaven here represents the presence of corruption.

The inner room was a storeroom which was surrounded by other rooms; it was the most private part of a house. NKJ Bible.

Luke 12:1.2.3. (NKJV)
12 In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

Matthew 16:12 (NKJV)
12 Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Matthew 23:28 (NKJV)
28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Matthew 10:26 (NKJV)

26 Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
