Acts 8:31-33

Our purpose as Christians is to let our generation know that Christ alone can provide salvation. He is the only way to the Father, the truth of the Word of God made flesh and the only light that can give life to all who believe. Then the Holy Spirit takes over. He will take the Scriptures and breathe life into them for those who believe in Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of God does not eliminate the need for human teachers or diligent study. The Spirit is not given to make study needless but to make study effective.The NKJV Study Bible.

Acts 8:31–33 (NKJV)
31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this:
He was led as a sheep to the slaughter;
And as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away,
And who will declare His generation?
For His life is taken from the earth.”

8He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
Isaiah 53:8

63 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”
Matthew 26:63

12 And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing.

Matthew 27:12
