Zephaniah 13:9

God uses the trials that we face in our life to mold and refine us into the image of His Son. We can fight against the goads or learn from them. The choice is ours to make…we will learn the easy way OR the hard way.

Trust the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to do what we cannot until He comes again.

Zechariah anticipates the glorious day when the Lord will reestablish His reign on this earth, where it was first challenged by Satan. This will be the answer to the prayers of all those who pray Jesus’ words, “Your kingdom come”.

Zephaniah 13:9

⁹ I will bring the one-third through the fire,

Will refine them as silver is refined,

And test them as gold is tested.

They will call on My name,

And I will answer them.

I will say, ‘This is My people’;

And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”

^10 i“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 

Zechariah 12:10

⁹ And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be “The Lord is one,” And His name one. 

Zechariah 14:9

¹⁰ Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. 

Isaiah 48:10

³ He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. 

Malachi 3:3

¹⁵ Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” 

Psalm 50:15

⁶ In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 

1 Peter 1:6

⁷ that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

¹⁰ Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
