Daniel 5:20-21

The ultimate sin is pride! I need less and less of me and more and more of Him. If we humble ourself He is able to work in us and through us to accomplish His will for us.

Let go and let God!

3349 μετεωρίζομαι [meteorizo /met·eh·o·rid·zo/] AV translates as “be of a doubtful mind” once. 1 to rise up on high. 1a to put a ship [out to sea] up upon the deep. 1b to raise up fortifications. 2 metaph. 2a to lift up one’s soul, raise his spirits. 2a1 to buoy up with hope. 2a2 to inflate with pride. 2a3 to be elated. 2a4 to take one airs, be puffed up with pride. 2b by a metaphor taken from ships that are tossed about on the deep by winds and waves. 2b1 to cause one to waver or fluctuate in the mind. 2b2 to agitate or harass with cares. 2b3 to make anxious.

Daniel 5:20-21
20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. 21 Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.


30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
