Mark 1:14-15

The time is now. Salvation is at hand. Repent. Believe.

Jesus fulfilled the law in His birth and death overcoming the darkness in His resurrection. He died in our place so that we could live in His.

He is the light that shines on the truth of God and we are one in Him…the Body of Christ.

Jesus proclaimed the kingdom of God. It was the subject of much OT prophecy, and the theme was familiar to Jesus’ listeners. Repent, and believe are both acts of faith. When a person accepts the only true and worthy object of faith, that person readily turns from inferior substitutes.

Mark 1:14-15
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying,  “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

12 lNow when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee.
