Without justice and mercy monetary donations are meaningless.
We need to support our Church with tithing but tithing does not get you into God’s grace…..Jesus does.
We should be living examples of God’s agape love that He gave to the world with the greatest of personal cost. We were given salvation without cost to us how much more should we freely give love, mercy and forgiveness to God's creation.
Our Christianity is evident in our treatment of others.
Without love….we have nothing of worth to give!
Luke 11:42
2 “But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
