1 Corinthians 8:1-3

No matter how much we have studied the Word of God we only understand a small part of the whole.

Mere humans could not grasp the scope of the Almighty and He knows that. And whatever knowledge the Holy Spirit has given us is to be used to build up our fellow Christians… not to tear them down.

Faith in Him alone pleases our Father and His love has conquered sin and death covering all believers in the Blood of Jesus the Christ.

These people belittled their weaker brothers and sisters with their knowledge. They had missed the point. They should have been using their knowledge to help other believers in the church.

1 Corinthians 8:1-3
Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is 4perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
1 Corinthians 13:8–12

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Galatians 6:3

he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,
