Luke 6:17-19

There is healing in His wings! Through Jesus we can come boldly to the throne of God. The veil of sin that separated us from God has been broken in Him.

When we lift up the Son of God others are drawn to the love of God manifested in His mercy and compassion.

Do you desire God’s Spirit? Here’s what you do: He says everyone who asks will receive. You know how to give good things to your children; how much more your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Friend, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. Welcome the Spirit into every part of your heart! Max Lucado

…no matter where we labor or toil, our calling is to spill the light. And the good news? For this we don’t have to pass a test, or qualify, we have only to be willing. Jesus made it simple, "Let your light shine." Sabbath Moments

Luke 6:17-19

17 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, 18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. 19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. The New King James Version

The audience for the sermon consisted of both disciples and the great multitude. Jesus did not restrict His remarks simply to those who believed. Jesus’ fame extended even into Gentile regions. The people were drawn by His teaching and healing ministry. The NKJV Study Bible

They came to be cured by him, and he healed them. There is a fulness of grace in Christ, and healing virtue in him, ready to go out from him, that is enough for all, enough for each. Men regard the diseases of the body as greater evils than those of their souls; but the Scripture teaches us differently. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Mark 3:8 and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things He was doing, came to Him.
