2 Corinthians 9:7-9

Give from the heart at the promptings of God’s heart. ...the Holy Spirit! Never tire of doing good to the glory of God.

Be a doer not only a receiver💕

The Corinthians may have felt concerned about giving money because of the uncertainty of life in the ancient world. Paul does not want this to be reason for them to withhold their generosity. Paul affirms that God can provide everything they need, just as He is doing for the church in Jerusalem. Faithlife Bible.

Knowing the law of the harvest, each believer should give as he purposes in his heart. The believer is to give freely and cheerfully, not out of compulsion, and without regret. NKJ Bible.

2 Corinthians 9:7–9 (NKJV)
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

As it is written:
“He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”

Deuteronomy 15:10
You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.

Psalm 112;9

He has dispersed abroad,He has given to the poor;His righteousness endures forever;His horn will be exalted with honor.
