As believers we are continually being changed, precept by precept, into the image of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, by the unity of the Holy Spirit.  His loving obedience regarding His Father changed everything… 

  Every. Thing.

The fruit manifested in us is witnessed by the good works that we do out of our love for the Triune God. True followers of Jesus Christ will be known by the love they show to each other and to others based on a lasting, unconditional commitment.

Galatians 5:22-23

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control.

discernment: Found only here in the NT, the Greek word means moral or ethical understanding based on both the intellect and the senses. The word implies perception or insight into social situations.

Philippians 1:9-11 

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, ¹⁰ that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. NKJ

¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. 

Ephesians 2:10

² Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 

John 15:2

⁶ which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; 

Colossians 1:6

⁸ By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
