Luke 9:1-3

Jesus calls ordinary people to spread the Gospel and to heal others. Through the power of the Holy Spirit He healed the physically ill and the mentally ill always giving them the truth of salvation and the choice to accept the ultimate healing of all…Spiritual healing. We are to prepare the way for His return. 

In the measure that we believe in Him is the measure that we can be used by Him for God’s purpose.

Jesus commissioned His disciples to spread the word about God’s kingdom through preaching and healing.

Luke 9:1-3

Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. ² He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

¹³ And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. 

Mark 3:13

¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 

Mark 16:17

¹⁸ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 

Mark 16:18

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. 

Luke 10:1

⁸ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
