Proverbs 12:25

There is so much anxiety in the world today and I have no desire to add to it. Please Father guard my heart so that out of my mouth flow healing words. We need to build up the family of God by our words and our actions. It should start in our homes!

Anxiety loses some of its force in the face of a positive, encouraging word.

Barnabas’s encouragement of Paul is a great example of this.

Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 15:13

The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4

And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,
Acts 4:36

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

Acts 9:27
