Amos 5:14-15

When you ask God into your life expect change. When we stray from the path that He has prepared for us God will do whatever it takes for us to return. When we call upon His name in our life He will prune whatever is not producing good fruit. If and when we sin… repent quickly and trust Him to get you back on track. What does He require of us? To be fair. To remain humble. To forgive easily. Micah 6:8

The prophet interrupted himself, as it were, to plead with Israel to return to God and avoid the judgment He otherwise would bring upon them.Worshiping in the Lord’s name, the Israelites invoked the Lord’s presence with them in their spoken prayers and blessings. If they began to live as God had taught them in the Law, He would indeed be with them.

Amos 5:14-15
14     Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken.
15 Hate evil, love good;
Establish justice in the gate.
It may be that the Lord God of hosts
Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

I overthrew some of you, As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,And you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning;Yet you have not returned to Me,”Says the Lord.
Amos 4:11

Her heads judge for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No harm can come upon us.”
Micah 3:11

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psalm 97:10

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
Romans 12:9

Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God?
