Romans 10:12–13

Jesus is the living manifestation  of God’s truth and grace!

Truth and grace are One.

Today, we also see in the New Testament that the Lord has promised to work all things together for the good of "those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).

When our circumstances seem insurmountable, if we will look up and focus on who God is and who we are in Christ, He will refresh our perspective and encourage our hearts. Because Jesus gave His life to save and redeem us, we can be confident in His promise that He IS working all things for our good. We can speak truth over our hearts today and humbly follow the One who knows us best and loves us most. First5

My friend Jinks taught me the treasurable Hebrew word Mashpia, derived from the word shepha, which means, "to overflow" or "to pour abundantly." So... literally a channel or conduit. (In Kabbalistic terminology, shepha refers to one who channels Divine radiant energy.) The good news is that this doesn’t happen when I get to my “real life.” It happens now, with this life. When we embrace the reality that the dance, the abundance, the light, the tenderness, the empathy, the compassion, the wholeheartedness is already within us.

Romans 10:12–13

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The New King James Version

Both Jews and Gentiles are under God’s judgment because of sin, yet both are eligible for righteousness through faith in Christ. The Greek word kyrios, translated “Lord,” refers to Jesus Christ. Thus, Paul identifies Jesus Christ with Yahweh of the old testament. Faithlife Study Bible

Paul emphasizes the universal offer of salvation. Whoever means “all.”  This includes Jew and Greek (Gentile). The NKJV Study Bible

There is not one God to the Jews, more kind, and another to the Gentiles, who is less kind; the Lord is a Father to all men. The promise is the same to all, who call on the name of the Lord Jesus as the Son of God, as God manifest in the flesh. All believers thus call upon the Lord Jesus, and none else will do so humbly or sincerely. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Joel 2:32

And it shall come to pass

That whoever calls on the name of the LORD

Shall be saved.

For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,

As the LORD has said,

Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.

Acts 2:21

And it shall come to pass

That whoever calls on the name of the LORD

Shall be saved.’

Acts 10:36 The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all—

Romans 3:22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

Romans 3:29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,
