Mark 3:13

God knew from the beginning of time those who would accept His gift of grace in salvation. Those He foreknew He also called chosen.

Lord, the Air Smells Good Today
Lord, the air smells good today,
straight from the mysteries
within the inner courts of God.
A grace like new clothes thrown
across the garden, free medicine for everybody.
The trees in their prayer, the birds in praise,
the first blue violets kneeling.
Whatever came from Being is caught up in being, drunkenly
forgetting the way back.
Rumi (13th Century)

If it’s been awhile reconsider God’s extravagant grace: “Forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity” (Psalm 103:2-3). Why don’t you let grace unscrooge your heart. Max Lucado

Mark 3:13 And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.  The New King James Version

Luke 6:12 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Luke 6:13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:
