Hosea 14:8

May His peace, beyond our understanding, be yours today!

Galatians 5: 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control.

Hosea 14:8
8 “Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’
I have heard and observed him.
I am like a green cypress tree;
Your fruit is found in Me.

The prophet compares Yahweh to a tree, referring to its ability to provide fruit. Yahweh has always provided, but Ephraim needs to acknowledge Him. Faithlife Bible.

The Lord anticipates a time when He would restore repentant Israel. The Lord’s renewed blessing is compared to dew. Revived Israel is compared to a beautiful lily, a deep-rooted and aromatic cedar of Lebanon, an attractive olive tree, and a fruitful vine. The Lord Himself would be like a green cypress tree that provides protective shade. This affirmation of God’s watchful care stands in stark contrast to His judgment, which was compared to a leopard stalking its prey. NKJ Bible.

Psalm 111:7 | The works of His hands are verity and justice; all His precepts are sure.

John 15:4 | Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
