Luke 17:3-4

Withholding forgiveness holds us captive to sin….forgiveness gives us the freedom to let God move in our lives and theirs. Uphold the teachings of Christ but….hate the sin not the sinner! Always remembering that the measure that we forgive we will be forgiven.

All of mankind falls short of the glory of God.

Forgiving someone who repents is not just an option; it is commanded by Jesus. He advocates for forgiving as a response to divine forgiveness. Faithlife Bible.

Luke 17:3–4 (NKJV)
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Matthew 18:15 (NKJV)
15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV)

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
