Isaiah 46:9-10

God knows everything, controls everything and is in everything! He always has the final word.

Man made idols of money, control and power are temporary and will always fail.

Yahweh’s superiority over idols is again proven by His ability to simply declare that something will happen, and it will. In Mesopotamian myth, fate was determined by whichever god possessed the “Tablets of Destiny.” Marduk claimed the tablets after his victory over Tiamat in Enuma Elish. Faithlife Bible.

As the Sovereign of the cosmos, God can do anything He desires. His pleasure includes the salvation of His people and the worship of their hearts. NKJ Bible.

⁹ Remember the former things of old,

For I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is none like Me,

¹⁰ Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things that are not yet done,

Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,

And I will do all My pleasure,’

The plans of His heart to all generations.
