Romans 4:1-4

If any man boasts let him boast in this that Jesus was born into this world to die for our sins and was raised from that death by the power of the Holy Spirit. He conquered death to give everlasting life to those who would put their faith squarely in Him.

Jesus died for our sins, in our place, to give us eternal life with the Trinity…He is the only way to the Father and faith alone please Him.

Grace, undeserved and unmerited, the ultimate gift of a loving Father to His creation.

Because of Abraham’s faith, God credited Abraham with righteousness. In gaining this righteousness from God, Abraham did not obey some law or perform some ritual like circumcision, he simply believed God.

Romans 4:1-4
4 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
Luke 3:8

23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
James 2:23

just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
Galatians 3:6

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Romans 11:6
