John 8:7-11

Jesus forgave the adulteress. He did not condemn her, but neither did He condone her sin. Our calling, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is to live a life that pleases God. Jesus fulfilled the Law enabling us to live holy in His righteousness and we are changed precept by precept as the Holy Spirit enlightens us.

What does God require of us? Micah 6:8
He requires us to be fair and stand up for all people and to forgive others because we have been forgiven so much remaining humble knowing that it is not about us…but all about Jesus!

The Gospel of John is a persuasive argument for the deity of Jesus. It concentrates on presenting Jesus as the Word, that is, God who became a man. Thus John meticulously records the statements and describes the miracles of Jesus that can only be attributed to God Himself.

According to John, believing that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, is the beginning of eternal life. What could be more important?

John 8:7-11
So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
11 She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

The hands of the witnesses shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put away the evil from among you.
Deuteronomy 17:7

2 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
Romans 2:1

56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.
Luke 9:56

17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:17
