Mark 3:13

God calls whom He wills to do His will. Some He calls from a very young age and others much later. It is up to the Father to call us and up to us to listen closely to the Holy Spirit who will instruct us. When we work in unity every part of the Body of Christ is utilized for His good and the good of His Church.

All believers are followers of Christ and we all have a calling.

Jesus had a large group of followers. Even after the Twelve were appointed, He still had a large and continual following. Later Jesus sent out an additional 70 disciples.

Mark 3:13

¹³ And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. 

10 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. 

Matthew 10:1

⁷ And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. 

Mark 6:7

9 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
