Psalm 150

Everything comes from God. The air that we breathe, the environment that surrounds us, the plants and animals that provide us sustenance, the people that share this world with us…..every thing comes from God and to Him alone belongs all honor and praise. Be thankful. Be humble. Know that life is His gift. Praise God.

Psalm 150, a psalm of praise, is a development of the Hebrew word hallelujah, meaning “Praise the Lord.”

The very breath that God gives us should be used to praise Him. As long as we live we should praise our Creator. By His breath God created all things, and by our breath we should adore Him.

Psalm 150

Let All Things Praise the Lord
1 Praise  the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord!
