God created man and an environment to sustain him. It is man's job to care for each other and the land that he was given from the Father. We cannot destroy each other and the earth and be in God's will.
The garden was perfectly prepared. It was man's home and he had to tend and keep it. Even the biblical paradise required work.
15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
