Having dreams and aspirations and the talent to put them to use is the gift of a loving God who cares for us and wants us to be fulfilled and happy in this life and in the life to come.
The Preacher concludes that all good is located only in God. In the midst of a world of trouble, a believer is able to seize the moment in joy from God. Only God supplies the key to the meaning of life. Without Him, genuine meaning, satisfaction, and enjoyment in life are ultimately elusive. God is the great Giver of all good gifts.
2:24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, more than I?
