Romans 13:8-10

In loving others and in caring for their well being as much as we care for our own well being we fulfill God's golden rule of love. If we truly love God and others we will be doers and not just hearers of the word made flesh, Jesus Christ.

Love is a debt that is never paid in full. We are commanded to love others just as genuinely and sincerely as we love ourselves. Therefore when we love, we automatically fulfill the prohibitions of the law.

13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
