Our fight is not with humans it is with Satan. He seeks to kill our love for God and others in Jesus Christ. Don’t let him. United in Holy Spirit nothing is impossible and we must not tire of doing good. We need to measure our words to match the New Covenant of God in the salvation He provided in Jesus. It is time to replace the individual rights of the “me” society and replace them with the communal rights of the Christian “we” of the Apostle Paul.
What if it really is all about my brother/sister?
Proverbs 12:13
13 The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips,
But the righteous will come through trouble.
Wickedness hurts the wicked; righteousness helps the righteous. This is another way of saying “whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”. NKJ Bible.
The wicked are caught by their own speech. This may indicate someone being caught in a lie or falling victim to their own rash or foolish words. Foolish or sinful speech ultimately harms the speaker. Faithlife Bible.
Hebrews 12:1-2
12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
