John 14:15-18

The Father gives us faith, hope and love and the greatest of these virtues is LOVE. 

Love God with all  your heart, mind and soul and love others as you do yourself. If we keep these commandments of Jesus we will walk the path that He laid before us. As He lived, abiding in His Father, so will we. 

The Spirit of truth will set us free!

The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth because He is truth and guides us into all truth. The Spirit of God is active in the world, but His acts go unnoticed by the world.

The Greek word for believe literally means “to place one’s trust in another”

John 14:15-18

¹⁵ “If you love Me, keep My commandments. ¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. ¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

³ For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 

1 John 5:3

²⁶ “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

John 16:13

⁷ For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 

1 John 5:7

²⁷ But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
