Zachariah 3:11-12

We are refined in affliction but we are not left alone the eyes of God are always upon us. He will mold us into the image of His Son, Jesus, as long as we are humble and trust totally in Him to accomplish what we cannot. 

It is not in man to know the path to God for HIs ways are far above our understanding and only come from the inner teachings of the Holy Spirit. spirit to Spirit. 

We are changed from the inside out.

The focus of the text moves to a time of national regeneration and restoration. 

God’s people would come from all nations to worship Him.

Zephaniah 3:11-12
11 In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds
In which you transgress against Me;
For then I will take away from your midst
Those who rejoice in your pride,
And you shall no longer be haughty
In My holy mountain.
12 I will leave in your midst
A meek and humble people,
And they shall trust in the name of the Lord.

9I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ” 
Zechariah 13:9

12For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low— 
Isaiah 2:12

15People shall be brought down, Each man shall be humbled, And the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled. 
Isaiah 5:15

and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

32What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the Lord has founded Zion, And the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.
