Hosea 10:1-2

The fruit of the Holy Spirit was never meant for personal use.

The characteristics of Christ are  developed in us to benefit the world not just those that we love. Used for our own purpose, stuck in our Churches, it soon becomes pride and arrogance…the only things that the Father hates.

United in the Holy Spirit (not politics and money) we can carry out God’s love for all people by being His hands and feet. Satan would love to divide us.

Love alone covers a multitude of sins.

"Perfect love means putting up with other people's shortcomings, feeling no surprise at their weakness, finding encouragement even in the slightest evidence of good qualities in them." - St. Therese of Lisieux

Israel empties his vine refers to God’s blessings upon the nation, which contrast with the nation’s ingratitude and idolatry. Divided refers to Israel’s deceitful and hypocritical ways.

Hosea 10:1-2
10 Israel empties his vine;
 He brings forth fruit for himself.
 According to the multitude of his fruit
 He has increased the altars;
 According to the bounty of his land
 They have embellished his sacred pillars.
2 Their heart is divided;
 Now they are held guilty.
 He will break down their altars;
 He will ruin their sacred pillars.

28But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, If they can save you in the time of your trouble; For according to the number of your cities Are your gods, O Judah.
Jeremiah 2:28

21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

1 Kings 18:21

24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
