Micah 4:6-7

There is poetic justice in God’s final plan for mankind.....His ways are far above our own.

This wording connects this section with the end times.  Those who were abused by the wicked leaders of Israel would be exalted by the Lord. Those whom God had driven from the land would be the people of His new kingdom.

This is a remarkable surprise—a surprise of grace.

Micah 4:6-7

6 “In that day,” says the Lord,
“I will assemble the lame,
I will gather the outcast
And those whom I have afflicted;

7 I will make the lame a remnant,
And the outcast a strong nation;
So the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion
From now on, even forever.
