Ecclesiastes 12:6-7

Where there is life there is hope! Hope that man will see the goodness and mercy of God and turn to Him and be forgiven. Life is finite and will come to an end but in Jesus eternal life with God exists for all who will choose to believe in His salvation.

This verse describes the destruction of four significant objects—a demonstration of the finality of this life. These words refer clearly to the universal fate of the descendants of Adam and Eve.

Ecclesiastes 12:6-7

6 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed,
Or the golden bowl is broken,
Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain,
Or the wheel broken at the well.
7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
