Proverbs 12:25 We were created for good works!

I am so very thankful for those in my life who always have a wise word and a  prayer in the  good times and in the difficult times of life. In the unity of Holy Spirit we grow His fruits to share with others.

You are omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. You alone are all powerful, all knowing and present in all your creation.

Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit.  Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.  St. Francis de Sales

Worry accomplishes nothing but the flesh will always fight against the Spirit…we choose which voice we will listen to. In all matters with prayer and supplication we can cast our cares upon God because He cares for us!!

Proverbs 12:25

25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. The New King James Version

As believers we are blessed with the ability through Holy Spirit to be doers of good works for His glory. We work together to further the Kingdom and to bring others into the love that only God can provide.

1 Corinthians 3:9-11 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Anxiety loses some of its force in the face of a positive, encouraging word. Barnabas’s encouragement of Paul is a great example of this. The NKJV Study Bible

Care, fear, and sorrow, upon the spirits, deprive men of vigour in what is to be done, or courage in what is to be borne. A good word from God, applied by faith, makes the heart glad. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Proverbs 15:13

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance,

But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Isaiah 50:4

“The Lord GOD has given Me

The tongue of the learned,

That I should know how to speak

A word in season to him who is weary.

He awakens Me morning by morning,

He awakens My ear

To hear as the learned.

Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart does good, like medicine,

But a broken spirit dries the bones.

Psalm 94:19

In the multitude of my anxieties within me,

Your comforts delight my soul.

Proverbs 16:24

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,

Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

In John 14:16-17, Jesus said, "I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn't see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you" (CSB, emphases added).

This promise was fulfilled at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus' disciples, empowering them for ministry and permanently dwelling within them. And Jesus' promise of the indwelling Holy Spirit was not limited to New Testament disciples but extends to every person who places their faith in Jesus (1 John 3:23-24).

The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit empowers us to live out our faith as we bear spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22-23), serve others (1 Corinthians 12:7) and share the gospel (Acts 1:8). As we follow Jesus, we can live lives that reflect the transforming work of the Holy Spirit within us and impact the world around us. First 5

The rabbi concludes, "If we tend to the things that are important in life, if we are right with those we love and behave in line with our faith, our lives will not be cursed with the aching throb of unfulfilled business. Our words will always be sincere, our embraces will be tight. We will never wallow in the agony of 'I could have, I should have.' We can sleep in a storm."

The truth is that our strength—fullness, abundance, value, sufficiency, wholeness—is already there… even if we don't see it.

And here's the deal: If we don't bring it with us, we're not going to find it there.

Our resources will be adequate if, in the midst of the storms, we affirm who we are, remember what we are here to do, and claim the presence of the One who never leaves us. Sabbath Moments
