Acts 21:23–25 There are the Jewish believers and there are the non-Jewish believers in Christ

Jesus came to His own people, the children of Abraham, and most failed to recognize Him as their King.

Revelation 1:7-8 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

The Lord will return to the Jewish nation and every eye will see Him. They will mourn their rejection of Him at His first coming. They will know that Christ is the beginning, the end  and everything in between. After the tribulation is over Jesus Christ will reign forever. He will stand in Jerusalem. He created all things from the beginning and He ended the rule of sin in the world. He will restore all things to Himself. It will be perfect as in the day of creation.

Acts 21:23–25

The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come. 23 Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have taken a vow. 24 Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.” The New King James Version

Exodus 19:7-9

So Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before them all these words which the Lord commanded him. Then all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” So Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord. And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.”

Having left Egypt Moses called out to the Lord and He answered  saying that if the house of Jacob would obey Him and keep His covenant they would be His treasure and a holy nation.

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Identical to His words in Exodus God called them a chosen and holy nation set apart for God’s praise and glory.

Jude 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Enoch prophesied of His coming to judge the nations.

Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

They will look upon Him whom they pierced and mourn their treatment of their King, the only begotten  Son of God.

Genesis 45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

Joseph speaking to the house of Jacob let it be known that God had turned their sin into their blessing to save them from the famine.

Every Jewish eye will see the return of Christ their King.

Isaiah 41:4

Who has performed and done it,

Calling the generations from the beginning?

‘I, the Lord, am the first;

And with the last I am He.’ ”

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The Lord is the first and the last. To Israel a child was born and the Son was given. He will rule with justice He is the Prince of peace. There will be no end His rule from the throne of David.

John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Before Abraham was before anything was created Jesus was. Jesus identified Himself as “I am” the Jehovah God of Abraham.

Exodus 3:6

Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exodus 3:14

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Moses ask what His name was and God told him that He was “I am who I am”. As in the beginning God will inhabit His people. Carla

A Nazirite vow was connected with becoming pure or holy before Yahweh for a set period of time. James may be suggesting that Paul join in the Nazirite vow himself—which he may have already voluntarily done at one point—or that Paul undergo a different kind of purification rite. By doing this, Paul will show that he is still sensitive to Jewish culture, which James believes will overturn their fellow Jews’ concerns about Paul. This action demonstrates that Paul is not encouraging Jews to abandon their traditions, cultural identity, or religious identity. James affirms the decision of the Jerusalem Council. Paul’s actions are purely social, showing respect for Israelite customs. Faithlife Study Bible

Paul paid the expenses of the four men who had taken a vow, because the men were impoverished by the famine in Judea and did not have enough money to complete their vow by offering a sacrifice in the temple. But there might have been another reason as well. The Jewish historian Josephus tells us that when Herod Agrippa I began his reign over Judea in a.d. 41, he paid for a considerable number of Nazirite vows to show his respect for the Mosaic Law. For the sake of showing his Jewish brethren that he had not forsaken the laws of Moses, Paul did what they asked. Reputation was an issue for the apostle, as it is for all believers. The Christian leaders were not asking Gentiles to live like Jews; neither did they want to compel Jews to live like Gentiles. The spiritual unity of the body of believers is realized in its diversity, not in its conformity. From our diverse backgrounds and cultures we honor the same Lord. The NKJV Study Bible

Acts 15:29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.Farewell.

Acts 21:26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day, having been purified with them, entered the temple to announce the expiration of the days of purification, at which time an offering should be made for each one of them.

“Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God's dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away. Then the one seated on the throne said, 'Look, I am making everything new. ' He also said, 'Write, because these words are faithful and true'" (Revelation 21:3-5, CSB).

When Jesus says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end" (Revelation 21:6b, CSB), it means that for those who believe in Him as Lord of our lives, even something that seems as final or permanent as death isn't the end. First5

Maria Shriver posted, "In the spirit of fall, I've been thinking about the idea of falling into every part of life. So many of us hold ourselves back from really letting go and falling in. We are scared that if we fall in fully we will get hurt or be disappointed. We are terrified that there will be nothing there to catch us. There is always a chance of that but I've come to believe that standing back is far scarier than falling in. Standing back and being aware of it makes us feel stuck, makes us feel afraid, makes us feel less than. When we let ourselves fall in, we fall into our courage. We fall into our strength. We fall into our power and our worth. We fall into ourselves and our joy and meaning."

No, falling into our strength is not always any easy thing. Especially if we associate our strength with personas or roles we play, all linked to performance. Sabbath Moments
