In the righteousness of Jesus Christ we abide. In His mercy and grace we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. These verses in Psalm were in the message today by Life Church Vineyard.
Joy in the Lord is our strength. Sharing our joy with others is our testimony. Everything in my life that was meant to destroy my faith God turned for my good. His mercy and grace sustain me.
Psalm 51:13-19
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
Psalm 32:5-6
5 I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters
They shall not come near him.
When we acknowledge and confess our sins God lovingly restores us to Himself. One day He will return to judge. Now we live in His gift of grace and mercy. He did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that through Him the world could be saved. (John 3:16-17)
We show God’s love for His creation by extending love and mercy to others. Holy Spirit is continually reaching out to all of us to come to Him through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross. By sharing our experiences with God, and His love and forgiveness shown to us, we draw others to Him. Carla
Psalm 51:14
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
