John 3:30-36 In Jesus the fullness of the Godhead abides!

Just BELIEVE in His authority to do in our life what is perfect and transformative to our spiritual walk with God.

God is in all creation. He knows the past, the present and the future. He is all powerful to accomplish His will on earth as it is in heaven.

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world…trust in Him!!

John 3:30-36

31 He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. 33 He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. 34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” The New King James Version

His peace is so very precious to me!

After  Pentecost Saul (Paul) was consenting to the persecution of Jewish believers in Christ. Many  were scattered except for the Apostles. They were awaiting Christ return they thought that it would be imminent. Before Paul coming face to face with Jesus he persecuted those Jews. After His conversion he spent the rest of his life convincing others of the total salvation available to all who trust in Jesus  for salvation.

Galatians 1:11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Paul in writing to the Gentiles reinforced that they were under grace and not under the law. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was revealed to him not by man but by God.

Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith—to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

Jesus has the power to establish us. His salvation is now made available to all people and nations by faith. The love of God in Jesus Christ died for all of us. Although all of us come short of His glory  in Him we live who died for us. Because of His birth, death and resurrection everyone is made new. We only need to accept this by faith.  In the moment we believe Holy Spirit places us in the Body of Christ. We are a new creation reconciled to God by Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

God, the Father of our Lord, blesses us with all spiritual blessings in Jesus the Christ. We are holy and blameless before Him. In Him we alone we place our faith. In Him everything needed for salvation was done and it is finished.  Carla

John the Baptist insisted that Jesus Christ had to increase in popularity and that he, John, had to decrease. John explained that Jesus had to increase because of (1) His divine origin(2) His divine teaching and (3) His divine authority.

Even though John encouraged his disciples to also follow Jesus, there were still some found many years later in Ephesus (Acts 19). The NKJV Study Bible

John was fully satisfied with the place and work assigned him; but Jesus came on a more important work. He also knew that Jesus would increase in honour and influence, for of his government and peace there would be no end, while he himself would be less followed. John knew that Jesus came from heaven as the Son of God, while he was a sinful, mortal man, who could only speak about the more plain subjects of religion.

The words of Jesus were the words of God; he had the Spirit, not by measure, as the prophets, but in all fulness. Everlasting life could only be had by faith in Him, and might be thus obtained; whereas all those, who believe not in the Son of God, cannot partake of salvation… Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

John 8:23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

John 3:11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.

Until the day we leave this earth, we all are looking for wide open arms—the gift of grace, and the gift of being seen.
Yes, we do our best to pretend that we have our act together, or that we are above overtures of compassion. But inside something gnaws. You see, we don’t trust our own goodness. Or our own beauty. So, we reach out, at every opportunity, looking for mercy. We need hugs to remind us.
Which brings us back to our invitation this week; let us be gentle with ourselves, embracing the gift of self-compassion. Yes.
Giving ourselves the permission to embrace the wholeness (the beauty and the light), which is alive and well even in the crazy or the broken. Sabbath Moments

In our greatest time of trouble, we were dead in our sin, but God sent Jesus to deliver us from the dominion of darkness, making it possible for us to receive eternal life through faith in Him (Colossians 1:13)! As we face the troubles of today and the tribulations of tomorrow, we can call out to our heavenly Father and trust that He will provide our way of escape and be our ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). Jesus once used this metaphor when He said, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him" (John 11:11). And later in the same passage, as He comforted Lazarus' grieving sister Martha, Jesus announced Himself as "the resurrection and the life" and stated that "whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live" (John 11:25). God has promised His people will enjoy eternity with Him. First5
