Zephaniah 3:20 So great a salvation

The Cross and the salvation it bought with the blood of Jesus Christ offers us, who were once separated from God, rebirth and renewal. We become joint heirs in Christ and will spend eternity with Him in the world He created for us who believe!!.

Jeremiah 29:14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

Isaiah 56:5

Even to them I will give in My house

And within My walls a place and a name

Better than that of sons and daughters;

I will give them an everlasting name

That shall not be cut off.

How can we escape if we reject so great a salvation. For the Gospel of Jesus Christ is accessible to everyone who accepts it.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Adam alone with God who tells him not to eat of the tree of knowledge because if he ate of it he would surely die. It would take the blood of Christ to redeem man from death.

Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

We can be assured that God hears our prayers, and we can trust in God's promised faithfulness. If Jeremiah was indeed the writer of this book, we can see how his life also served as an example of God's deliverance in response to prayer: God raised up a rescuer to lift Jeremiah out of his pit (Jeremiah 38:13).

Friend, whether we fear a circumstance or a foe, our God is near and will show Himself faithful. We can pour out our petitions to Him, even if all we can convey are tears. First5

As a boy, stories from the Bible were a staple in my education. Remember the Old Testament story about Moses, on a mountain in a desolate place, on the edge of gloom? A bush begins to burn. And a voice speaks from that burning bush. “Take off your shoes,” it said. “You are on holy ground.”

I believe (those words) were an invitation.
Moses... You are on holy ground. Therefore, in order to touch, to feel this ground, let’s remove whatever blocks or inhibits or prevents.
Take off your shoes. Savor the ground. The ordinary ground.
The hiding place for the holy.
Yes indeed... the purpose of such attentiveness is to gain intimacy.
To be grounded…
literally sinking into life, allowing us to be fully alive smack dab in the middle. Sabbath Moments

Zephaniah 3:20

20 At that time I will bring you back, Even at the time I gather you; For I will give you fame and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I return your captives before your eyes,” Says the Lord. The New King James Version

These verses appear chiefly to relate to the future conversion and restoration of Israel, and the glorious times which are to follow. They show the abundant peace, comfort, and prosperity of the church, in the happy times yet to come. He will save; he will be Jesus; he will answer the name, for he will save his people from their sins

Many are the troubles of the righteous, but they may rejoice in God’s love. Surely our hearts should honour the Lord, and rejoice in him, when we hear such words of condescension and grace. If now kept from his ordinances, it is our trial and grief; but in due time we shall be gathered into his temple above. The glory and happiness of the believer will be perfect, unchangeable, and eternal, when he is freed from earthly sorrows, and brought to heavenly bliss. Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary

Joel 3:1

“For behold, in those days and at that time,

When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem,

Deuteronomy 26:18–19

Also today the LORD has proclaimed you to be His special people, just as He promised you, that you should keep all His commandments, and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the LORD your God, just as He has spoken.”

Isaiah 66:22

“For as the new heavens and the new earth

Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the LORD,

“So shall your descendants and your name remain.
