Mark 6:31

It is OK to rest. In this Holiday Season let us remember to rest in God’s peace and reflect on His mercy in sending  Jesus Christ! 

The Father knows that we are mere humans!

…Choose to remember God's character.

God's steadfast love. (Psalm 69:13;  Psalm 69:16)

God's faithfulness. (Psalm 69:13)

God's abundant mercy. (Psalm 69:16)

God's salvation. (Psalm 69:29)

God's compassion to hear the needy. (Psalm 69:33)

We are so obsessed with doing that we have no time and no imagination left for being. As a result, men are valued not for what they are but for what they do or what they have — for their usefulness. Thomas Merton

Mark 6:31

31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. The New King James Version

Matthew 14:13 When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.

Mark 3:20 Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
