Hosea 11:3-5

We, in our worldliness, may deny God as our Father but He will never deny us as His creation. 

He is kind and gracious not wanting anyone to be separated from Him. But He will not force us to repent and accept His offer of salvation...He is the consummate gentleman.

He  loves us so!

Like a father teaching his child to walk, the Lord patiently gave the people of Israel direction and cared for them tenderly when they experienced pain or injury. Faithlife Bible.

 The Lord had placed restraints—cords and bands—on Israel, but His regulations, rather than being overly strict or harsh, reflected His concern for the people’s well-being. God did not drive them mercilessly but provided for their needs, like a farmer who periodically removes the yoke from an animal’s neck so that it can 

Yahweh was responsible for raising Israel from infancy as a nation, but they failed to acknowledge it. The prophet uses imagery of a farmer caring for his livestock. NKJ Bible.
one who lifted up a yoke Yahweh used cords, bands, and the yoke for gentle guidance—not oppression.


Hosea 11:3-5
“I taught Ephraim to walk taking them by their arms;But they did not know that I healed them.I drew them with gentle cords,With bands of love,And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck.I stooped and fed them.“He shall not return to the land of Egypt;But the Assyrian shall be his king,Because they refused to repent.


Hosea 32:10-11

He found him in a desert landAnd in the wasteland, a howling wilderness;He encircled him, He instructed him,He kept him as the apple of His eye.As an eagle stirs up its nest,Hovers over its young,Spreading out its wings, taking them up,Carrying them on its wings,So the Lord alone led him,
