Mark 15:37-39

The supernatural events surrounding the Christ convinced many of His deity.

Jesus removed the veil that separated man from God so that whoever believed in Him and in the salvation He provided would forever have access to the Trinity... in this life and in eternity.

The significance of the supernatural tearing of the veil of the temple is that access to God is now open to all. No longer through priests and the blood of bulls and goats do we approach God, but through the torn veil, which also symbolizes Jesus’ broken and torn body reminding us that God Himself removed the barrier.

Mark 15:37-39
37 And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.
38 Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”

John 10:18
18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Hebrews 10:20

20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
