Psalm 8:3-4 God created all of us in His image.

Job 7:17–18

“What is man, that You should exalt him,

That You should set Your heart on him,

That You should visit him every morning,

And test him every moment?

God created us, male and female, in His image. In His love He gave  us the freedom to choose to love Him and to enjoy and care for the earth. We are the works of His hands. We are mere humans and God loves all of us! Carla

Psalm 8:3-4

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,

The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

4 What is man that You are mindful of him,

And the son of man that You visit him?

5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,

And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

David is in awe at the splendors of creation; the wonders of nature lead him to praise its Creator. Even the universe with its infinite distances was the work of the Lord’s fingers (19:1). In view of the vastness of creation and the surpassing glory of God the Creator, who are we to presume upon Him? Here man refers to all human beings regardless of gender. The NKJV Study Bible

Psalms often express praise for God as the Creator (Psalm 33:6–7; 104:1–30). These praises are meant to inspire awe and respect at Yahweh’s sovereign power (33:8–9).

The finger of God symbolizes His power: Pharaoh’s magicians attributed the third plague to the finger of God (Exodus 8:19); the finger of God wrote the law on stone tablets (Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 9:10); and in the New Testament, Jesus cast out demons by the finger of God (Luke 11:20).

The psalmist marvels that God—the supreme Creator—involves Himself with humanity. Faithlife Study Bible

Blessed are the peacemakers.
