Ezekiel 34:16

Compassion for fallen man is a constant attribute of the One who loves you! Shouldn’t we have that same compassion? It is all about the gift of salvation that He gave to us in Jesus. Trust in Him alone remember.... He gave His life so that you could have yours.

Israel, though guilty and misguided, would eventually be rescued by the divine Good Shepherd and restored to the Promised Land

¹⁶ “I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.”
