Mark 2:27-28

Have you ever wondered if organized religion does more harm than good? With all of her rules and doctrines does she turn away those whom Jesus came to save? The Book Of Mark is full of these questions, maybe we would do well to reevaluate the churches approach to salvation.

Jesus does not declare directly the innocence of either David or His disciples, but instead reminds His critics of the meaning of the Sabbath for humans and His own Lordship over it.

Mark 2:27-28

27 And He said to them,  “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
