John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
In Christ we can overcome the sin that so easily comes in the flesh. He gives us Holy Spirit and His shield of faith. In Him we are protected from the attempts of the enemy to destroy us. In Christ and the power of Holy Spirit we are safe and sealed to the glory of God the Father.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
1 Corinthians 15:51-57 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Ephesians 1:13–14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory
Holy Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, will raise us also that we may serve God forever in peace and to His glory. The attributes that we will carry with us throughout our lives are faith and love. We will live forever in His gift of salvation by faith in Christ Jesus. Carla
All of God’s promises concerning Christ are true and trustworthy: a Yes.
In the Greek text, anointed is connected to establishes. God confirmed Paul and his fellow workers by anointing them. This anointing probably refers to special empowerment by the Holy Spirit, similar to the anointing John described in 1 John 2:20, 27.
Sealing indicates ownership and security. The sealing and the giving of the Holy Spirit are also linked. The Holy Spirit is a guarantee, the down payment that there is more spiritual blessing to come and that the believer will receive eternal life. The NKJV Study Bible
The promises of God refers to all of God’s promises in the Old Testament. Paul also mentions God’s promises in 2 Corinthians 7:1, where he cites a series of Old Testament quotations that highlight God’s adoption of His people (6:16–18). Elsewhere Paul refers to God’s promise to Abraham (Romans 4:13). In Him they are “yes” indicates that God’s promises are true, trustworthy, and fulfilled in Christ.
Who anoints refers to an Old Testament custom of marking a person for service to God. The Greek word translated “anoints,” chrisas, is a play on the word Christos, meaning “Anointed One” or “Christ.” In the Old Testament, God commanded that certain people be anointed with oil to designate them for service, usually as a priest, king, or prophet (Exod 28:41; 1 Kings 19:16).
In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit symbolizes and replaces the anointing oil. The Spirit sets people apart for God and empowers them for ministry (Matthew 3:16; 1 John 2:27). In this context, believers share in the mission of Christ to announce the gospel message. Believers are commissioned to perform the work of Christ.
Sealed signifies ownership. Paul writes elsewhere that God gave believers the Spirit as proof they belong to Him (Ephesians 1:13). The Holy Spirit is a down payment of the believer’s inheritance in the kingdom of God (Ephesians 1:13–14; 2 Corinthians 5:5). Faithlife Study Bible
1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
Romans 15:8–9 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:
“For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles,
And sing to Your name.”
2 Corinthians 5:5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

On this day may I be present
to the Miracle of being alive.
May I reach out to those who are suffering
and may I use my voice as a force for good.
May I have the courage to do what is right,
not what is easy.
May I have the strength to shine a light in the darkness.
May I not distance myself from myself.

In our relationship with God, sound doctrine is essential to right living grounded in His Truth. We cannot live by God's Truth if we do not know God's Truth. On our own, living a life of holiness is impossible for anyone because of sin. But when we put our faith in Jesus' redemptive work on the cross, we are "sealed with the promised Holy Spirit" (Ephesians 1:13), who dwells in us and transforms us from the inside out, growing us in Christlike character (2 Corinthians 3:18). As we learn from Him, we actively grow in spiritual maturity. Finally, as an outpouring of our faith, we will also desire to live "in love" toward others unconditionally, as God loves us. We demonstrate "steadfastness" in our convictions and character when we consistently point others to God through our words, attitude, and actions. First5
